Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has won Emmy awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for another 27 years. Ina began her career working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. While she initially found the work intellectually stimulating she eventually lost interest. Then she bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After nearly 18 years of making the shop a massive success she sold it and began creating her first novel. A number of other books and magazine articles followed. Another hit was her Food Network Television show. In addition, she offers products that range from food items to storage containers and other equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery school or worked in a restaurant and she is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing style of creating and entertaining. The most well-known recipes are Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
